I have been reminicsing on the naming of Scratch magazine and it got me thinking about the fantastic names you give your nail salons/businesses -

So I thought it would be great to ask you...

if you had to name a nail salon (or if you have already) - what would you call it?

Tell me the name and how/why you chose it

I bet there's some really great names out there that I've still not come across...

Adelle Nails It!

I wanted to use my name so that I was the first in the phone book, and I also found a cool font on the net called "Nails", and it's letters made from building nails, so it's a bit of a play on words.

i came up with the name i use "Tinkerbelle Tips" people were always sayin that everytime they seen me i was tinkering away (busy experimenting with nails) it sparked an idea as i was going mobile and couldn'd agree on a name.....so...TA TA .....THERE IT BE....Tinkerbelle Tips

Mine is Nail Parlour
I think it describes what I do. And gives the impression it is a relaxing place.
I did a search for ''definition of parlour''
Answer was.....Parlour is a bit like home, come in - stay for a while and relax.

WHEN lol i get my salon i want to call it
Simply.....Enhancing
why because i like the name, and it says exactly what i do in the title. i even have the font and colur allready in my head for when i get the sign done...lol

Nail-Spa....I wanted it to say what we did on the tin so to speak. We're on a busy through route so I wanted people driving by to see the name, automatically know what we did and be able to remember it so they could look it up when they got home.

I've already named it and i'm doing it homebased for now

1. I chose it because it suits me!
when people find out what my buisness name is they're always like, omg! that's so you! And they all seem to like the name. (my bf calls me a fish because i'm always attracted to shiney, pretty things LOL)
So this way people can easily remember me and my name

It has so many meanings - an enthusiast / to shine or polish / to give a velvety smooth surface, which all sum up what I am about. I get quite a few clients who chose me out of the Yellow Pages just because they liked the name, they say it's short and sassy (just like me lol!)



... although I'm still waiting for some perve to phone me and ask if I do it "in the buff"! ... which indeedy I don't!

Mine is Creative Ends.....because I'm creative with the ends of fingers and toes!!

NICERNAILS Its simple and to the point if you want nicernails step my way

TIPS 'N' TOES as i only did manicures, pedicures and nail enhancments when we opened

When I have a salon it is going to be called Talons & Tootsies! But, for now, I am concentrating on building up my mobile business and I am called Nailz - simple and says what I do! (I think...)

I called mine michelle's nails and beauty because its to the point
and it's all mine.

Klassy Klaws
I had big problems trying to think of mine so I asked for a little help from the lovely geeks.
I did think of Kazies (Karen is my name) Klassy Klaws (liked it with the K instead of C)but I thought it was to long and if you see its KKK which I didn't think was very good

When I finally get going (after I hopefully finish my L&P Foundation) I'm going to be called "Beautiful Cuticles".

I like the way it sounds, and hopefully sums up what the clients will get when they've had their treatments!
