We have a lass who sits for us...only when kids are already in bed as they are a handful! She is the daughter of an old family friend so we know her pretty well, but shes comming up to 16 so i suppose she wont be too bothered soon, rather be out with her mates!

I live in a rural town, there are a few people that will babysit ranging from teenagers /young adults to mature adults, at around £5 an hour, but well nowhere to go out and nobody to go out with, and not alot of money to spend on babysitters plus all the rest, maybe 3 times a year absolute tops! Rarely other mothers from school will help me out with a school drop off or pick up if i cannot be there maybe 5 times a year.

we had an ex pat babysitting circle but because I was the one with the massive house and the huge back garden most of them came to my place and brought the eats and drinks with them

both our parents are always asking when they can have our 3 month old daughter for the night. so we tend to just make a date night so they can have a chance to watch her lol plus it gives us time alone, and its free! funny thing is if I give her to my mom one night though, then its not long before his mom is saying well when do we get a turn?
