I am a Nail Geek

hi, i am a nail tech of 14 years and currently teach part time @ a college in oxfordshire. I met with our local MP and he helped me through all the correct channels to our local council to try and get a team together to go around and start regulating and checking on nail techs, salons etc, it went as far as Lord Hunt in the house of commons and back to our trading standards here, finally i got a letter from the council, basically saying they were not interested as they had an EHO officer that covered those sort of things. I was really surprised to be fobbed off like that, i was offering my services free and in light of all the recent guidelines from HABIA i was concerned at their lack of interest, having said that the local MP and the house of commons sent me many letters agreeing with my ideas and being very very helpful, it was the council that rejected my offer without even meeting with me? what do u think about that?
