this quiet time can also be used to our advantage.
we will have been busier(hopefully earn extra money!) prior to xmas so can use non client time for our business. re-evaluate your business - (web/library search for free courses?) do a business plan if you haven't got one. plan a marketing strategy get your paperwork in order - tax returns/aftercare leaflet etc self directed study (practise something you avoid 'cos its difficult) have a 1-2-1 with a fellow geek(lots of laughs and no cost?) just a few ideas |

Christmas is a time for parties and get togethers and many people will notice your clients nails and ask, "where do you get your nails done?"
This is the time to ask your clients to 'share the secret' of their beautiful nails with their friends and acquaintances. If the friend/acquaintance books a full set at your salon in January/February then your client who shared the secret will get a special price on her next rebalance (never say the word discount ... so tacky and not professional sounding) the new client recieves a gift with purchase of her full set and is also invited to share the secret. Doing this in my salon brought many many new clients to the door and reminds your regulars to recommend you to others. So many women take their nails for granted and forget to sing your praises. |

I was wondering would it be a good idea to give a voucher or something for the "special price" rebal etc... say to be used within a certain time limit...because I have visions of my clients coming back in 6 months when I have forgotten all about it What would you recommend for a gift? a mini solar oil or enamel or something ? Thankyou hun ![]() |

You know me too well hahaha Thankyou I will be doing this, I just had my thumb grabbed while shopping with a "ooooohhh" lol So yes the best advertisment is your work on show. last question i promise I have had a bit of a battle with my price list lately, So how much would you recommend to take off the balance for the "special price" (a certain percentage etc..?) So no general discount for the months of January and Feb just incentives would work best in a business sense (except for the refering client ) ~~Emmsy go's to hide in corner with embarrasment lol ~~ |

Hey my friend, I know you can take it!!
We used to do the rebalance for 5.00 less for each friend/acquaintance that booked a FULL SET. and they couldn't add them altogether either. one fiver for each rebalance if they had earned it. Quote:
