When I read the post, I understood it to mean that the journalist wanted our own personal beauty disasters, not those we have done to our clients in professional capacity. Could be wrong though!

How about the article making a very clear differentiation between highly trained salon professionals, and "cowboys" who are out there doing treatments with no training or insurance?
e.g. on the one hand, you could have a properly trained nail technician using high quality professional products, and compare that with an NSS salon using MMA and causing much pain to the client and damage to their nail beds by things like excessive electric filing, or prising off old enhancements instead of letting them soak off properly. |
