I have always offered airbrushing since I did my training many years ago - I have all the kit so I might as well use it but I have not needed to buy any supplies for years. I only have one client who regularly has coloured patterns. I do sometimes use it for doing a fancy French.
I worked out some time ago that only 4% of my income came from nail art. I know that there are people out there who make lots of income from nail art but I think they are now in the minority. |

Hi there, airbrush is very popular with my clients, particularly for those clients whose hubsbands have good jobs and they don't work, but stay at home to look after their children. I find that my clients know each other and I encourage them to have different patterns.

I offer airbrushing mainly fantasy french as with most of my clientèle they only have nail art for special occasions and the younger girls want the newest thing out with as much bling as they can get on it! And when you consider time, colours and stencils the price would be a bit more that they would like to pay.
I have not taken any courses or been trained in any way but started off as just another thing I wanted to try my hand at and found something else I enjoy doing. |

I've been offering airbrushed nail art for years now and still find it quite popular. I have heaps of interest in the airbrush nail art classes I teach too. My equipment has paid for itself many times over during the time I've been airbrushing so I have no complaints!

I ticked the last option 'adding it in the future' one.
I have the kit and I have had a go quite a few times, but I would need to go on a course and perfect it. I hate just dabbling in something I like to make it work and find out if I can do it, if I can, I will do it to the best of my ability. I fully intend to have training and offer airbrushing, I love nail art so I must try it. Interesting poll Alex. |

I have offered airbrushing since 2002 as its very popular where I lived due to NSS, in Ireland not many airbrush so I use it to my advantage as people have seen airbrushing in the states and think its wonderful.
I have always had natural nails with airbrush french AND forever french services on my menu and they go by side by side. Not all clients want crazy multi coloured designs mostly its french variables tho its there if they want it. The airbrush has certainly paid for itself and I can offer body art for kids parties and at halloween/fashion shows. |

Yeh I'm thinking of adding it to my treatment menu when I refresh it next year.
I have so many clients who request a colour/design change on a fortnightly basis. The only thing that puts me off slightly is that it seems to suffer from a certain amount of wear & tear. I have clients who have come to me from another salon with airbrushed designs and they are often scratched/chipped, leaving the nails looking a bit tacky. |

When I first started out I used to offer airbrushing as well as handpainted art. Now though most of my clients prefer 3d work and handpainted. As my skills with acrylic work has improved the need for the airbrush or the want of the airbrush has lessened.
It occassionaly comes out of its hidey hole now and again but more often than not now it is collecting dust Jen xx |
