      Hi,

I came across a post you had said you did the LVL lash lift course with british beauty academy - did you find it was a good course? Did you buy the kit i looked at doing it with flirties they charge £299+vat for the course inc kit and BBA only charge £135 so a huge difference! Wondered if you could give me any advice xx

Thank you for your reply hun! I've had more of a look into it & spoken to an ex tutor. NCFE is to show you have done the written assignments & understand the course whereas NVQ shows the practical side as well. I've applied to my local college but their taking forever to get back to me, I'll be on the part-time Level 2 course due to being 7 months pregnant I'll have a little one here. I think I'll just wait to hear back off them & stay clear of the home study xx

      Hi,

I came across your thread regarding a home study course with My Distance Learning College.. I was wondering if you could shed some light on the company as I'm looking to study Level 2 Beauty with them. Also, their qualification is NCFE.. Do employers recognise it? Xx

im looking for advise on millenium UV top coat. We usually use Gelux base/top coat if a client requests a high shine durable polish over nail enhancments. But have found that when applying it to a normal polish/ using as a top coat for twinkle toes/hollywood gel nails, that the other products are mixing with the Gellux Top Coat and interfering with the product. So as an alternative for customers who request a uv top coat, we thort wed try millenium uv top coat, not pricey but will still give that lasting high shine finish, having tried it on numerous guinea pigs and myself i have found that although cured under for the required 60 secs, it was still tacky. Cured it for longer and it was still tacky. Having tried a wipe off solution, the whole thing came off. Now i was wondering if anybody else had experienced this and did u find a resolution to this problem? is it because its cheap? and also what uv top coats did u find worked the best :-)
      Thanks <3
