Official Guidelines for MTW Liquid Acrylic for all 3 systems

More than White liquid acrylic is very versatile and can be used under any overlay system to produce a Permanent French look without the need to use a french tip or white powder or white gel.

I have listed the 'official' guidelines for using More Than White with all three enhancement systems. There are many ways one could use this product but these are the ways that I feel work best.

As for drying time, MTW should not take more than 2 minutes to dry if applied correctly .. so this should serve as a guide to help you apply the right amount.

Method No 1 using Fabric#
  1. PREP the nails.Apply a coat of BOND
  2. Apply tip: shape & blend
  3. Apply 1 thin coat of MTW liquid acrylic to the tip.Let dry for a full 2 minutes.
  4. Apply a 2nd thin coat if needed for even coverage. Let dry for the full 2 minutes.
  5. Apply a strip of your favorite fabric as normal.
  6. Slowly apply a coat of BOND saturating the fabric. Do not ‘over work’ over the MTW.
  7. Apply a 2nd thin coat if desired. Let dry.
NEVER test with your finger to see if dry. **
  8. Quickly and lightly apply a coat of BUILD over the whole surface and activate the drying process with a mist of BLAST spray Activator. Let dry.
  9. Using a soft abrasive, smooth over the surface of the whole nail lightly and evenly.Always be careful not to buff through the overlay and remove any white.
  10. Apply a thin coat of BOOST and use the Brush-On Activator to spread the bead. Make sure you remember to cover the sides and free edge.
  11. Repeat as many times as you want. 2-3 coats should be sufficient.
Finish the nails and bring to a high glassy shine.
Method No 2 using Fabric#
  1. PREP the nails.
  2. Apply a coat of BOND
  3. Apply tip: shape & blend
  4. Apply a strip of your favorite fabric as normal.
  5. Slowly apply a coat of BOND saturating the fabric.
  6. Apply a 2nd thin coat if desired. Let dry.
  7. Lightly buff Zone one with a soft abrasive and Apply 1 thin coat of MTW liquid acrylic to the tip.
  8. Let dry for a full 2 minutes. Apply a 2nd thin coat if needed for even coverage. Let dry for the full 2 minutes.
NEVER test with your finger to see if dry.
  9. Quickly and lightly apply a coat of BUILD over the whole surface and activate the drying process with a mist of BLAST spray Activator. Let dry.NEVER test with your finger to see if dry.**
  10. Using a soft abrasive, smooth over the surface of the whole nail lightly and evenly.Always be careful not to buff through the overlay and remove any white.
  11. Apply a thin coat of BOOST and use the Brush-On Activator to spread the bead.
  12. Make sure you remember to cover the sides and free edge. Repeat as many times as you want. 2-3 coats should be sufficient.
  13. Finish the nails and bring to a high glassy shine. Always be careful not to buff through the overlay and remove any white.
When Resin is brushed over MTW, it softens again and becomes sticky. Just follow instructions and it will be dry by the time you come to final buffing of the enhancement.

  • Lightly buff the nails to smooth and shape in the normal way. Always be careful not to buff through the overlay and remove any white.

Is MTW with a brush and applied just like nail polish? What happens when you need to re-balance? If there's a tutorial, just point me in the right direction please.

I really do think that this may be the way to go for me. I'll get some and give it a try.

Thanks maties. xxxxxxx

I never knew that. I'm so glad that I read this as I bought some a couple of days ago. I just assumed that I painted it on, under the top coat.

Brilliant. Can't wait to try it. x

No you don't have to be Creative trained to buy MTW as it's not a CND product, it's a Designer Nails product, distributed by The Hyperion Group in Leeds.
