a common stilleto design

1. apply nailform, make sure it sits snuggly and perfect.
2. start applying one of your desired colors, starting halfway the natural nail and fading it up and down so you avoid sharp markations.
3. Add another color a bit above the first one and fade out towards the first color and upwards.
4. continue this pattern sculpting your free edge in a stiletto shape keeping the colors nice and faded. at this point you apply clear acrylic over the entire nail and free edge to establish your overal curve and shape. If desired you can pinch the nail at this point when it is in its molding stage.
5. refine the shape of the entire nail so you don,t see any scratches on the enhancement from your abrasive. This is important since you will use acrylic paint and if you have file markations it can bleed in these tiny scratches reducing sharpness of the design. For the black design use a black acrylic paint that is pretty liquid in consistency. I always use airbrush colors. Take a fine art brush and start making black lines that merge together and split up again. Don't make it to uniform...it is nicer when each line runs differently. You can think of sunlight reflecting on the bottom of a swimming pool for this design =>
Make the lines a bit thicker aswell here and there, it adds to the charm of the design.
6. When the paint has dried, apply a uv topcoat to finish it of and moste of all to avoid washing your design off

Hint/ using glitter in your color pallet besides the opaque colors for the base, will add dimesion to the whole design.

and voila...you have a long pointy nail with black stripes
