Pastel Hearts & Flowers Step by Steps

Step 1 - After applying an airbrush base coat, lightly mist a layer of white over the nail.

Step 2 - Spray light blue diagonally across top half of nail.

Step 3 - Spray pink diagonally across lower part of nail, blending with blue to give lilac in the centre.

Steps 4 & 5 - Hold a piece of lace/netting across nail and very lightly mist white paint in two or three places, try not to spray over whole nail.

Step 6 - Position flower mask in top left corner of nail and spray white. Before removing mask, spray a tiny amount of pink on the tips of the petals. Remove mask.

Step 7 - Repeat Step 6 in bottom right corner of nail but before removing mask, this time spray a tiny amount of blue on the tips of the petals. Remove mask.

Step 8 - Add rhinestones to the centre of flowers. This nail has also had small white dots added using a dotting tool, and two hearts in the centre. Apply an airbrush compatible top coat, allow to dry, then wash around cuticles with soap and water.

Medea paints used:
Cloud White
Periwinkle Blue
Lilac

Pre cut masking used:

indeeeeedy, GORGEOUS. This is the kind of thing i long to do. Im now getting my ass in gear to get qualified and do some gel/acrylic courses before starting on airbrushing. Does anyone have any advise on which is the better method, gel or acrylic nails? Also, can you airbrush on both fake and real nails?
