Redface My first nail geek critique!

These are my first set of nails that i'll be using for my first portfolio!
*im prepping for an INM Educator course in september 2010*

The design is quite snazzy! The cuticle area is nice and flush with no visible edges, and it looks like the apexes (apexi? what's the plural for apex? ) are in the right place, judging by the light lines. The only thing I would correct are the sidewalls--looks like they need to be tapered in just a hair; right now you've got a slightly flaired look. This probably doesn't show up in person, but photos show all the stuff we didn't notice before!

thanks so much! you're right, its amazing how pictures pick up things we might not have noticed. great feedback, very much appreciated!

I have looked at these in your profile album too and what is noticeable there is all the scratches that are still visible,
you need to go down in your grits and really buff out every last scratch mark, hth

These are great nails but I think if you'd chosen a lighter coloured background we would get to see the nails better.

I love the design but if you had managed to cover the whole free edge it would look even better. There's a little bit of free edge showing on one of the nails anyway.

I also agree about the slight flaring of the nails.
