2nd attempt at NSI gel

Hi

I have just started doing nails and, perhaps foolishly

, enrolled on the gel course with Essential Nails. Having read a few posts last night about the course I am now having some concerns about the skills I am learning.

I would be really, really grateful if someone could give me honest feedback about how they think I am doing so far, and the main areas to concentrate on.

The images show nails on my left hand (I am right hand dominant), using natural tips and clear gel. I didn't want bright white tips so I have painted them with an cream polish and used a gel top coat.

My main areas of concern are the apex and the fact that some of tips look a bit thick

- I would love to hear your opinions!

i also use nsi gels which i really like. i would say from the pictures that your apex is a little flat and needs abit more gel,otherwise you will probably find they will break or crack easily.but to be honest the pictures are quite blurry to comment on things like product application at the cuticle area or if they are bumpy.
the length and shape look good though

Aah, ok, thanks Tracey Louise. I thought the same about the Apex - will work on that. Think I need to read through Nail Class again!

Will try and get better photo's next time as well.
