I think you did a brilliant job sweets! If your working too wet in zone 2/3, try wiping your brush a few more times on the edge of the dappen dish. When you create a bead you should see it go from white to pink as the liquid absobs the powder. The consistency should have a slightly lumpy appearance and when you apply it to your desired zone you should be able to place it and move it around with ease as opposed to working in a hurry so it doesnt run to the cuticle.
Your finish is result is so much better than my first set i ever did.
