This is one of my more recent efforts.
This is an NNO, with polish french that is marbled free-hand with a striper brush. Ok, let loose and give it to me straight. I can take it. I know what faults I see, but I want to hear your comments. Thanks!! ... |

I have a 63yr old client that wanted the same thing the other night Heck, why not right? Another wanted it in red, white and silver for valentines. Because I was wearing mine marbled, everyone else wanted it too. Especially since it could be any colour that they liked. Nope, I haven't tried with acrylic paints, but I don't see why it wouldn't work as well. Give it a try, who knows? Thanks for the compliments! ![]() |

Hi, these nails look GREAT!! Well done!! I read how you did them. So am I right that you did them over top of the acrylic/gel nails? Did you do a french tip or just natural? I'd like to give them a try, but want to make sure I'm doing the right thing

Victoria, they are beautiful. I think it's your best yet that I've seen. I used to mable like that all the time, it was my favorite design. I haven't done it for so long. Hmmmm I think you've just made me all nostalgic. |

Well, in those pictures, it was done on top of the uv gel. One client had a regular french nno underneath growing out. The other had a clear NNO. On myself (picture not posted) I did a clear sculpt, a very thin layer. Then I wiped, filed and buffed. Did my marble on myself. Let dry overnight (it was 11pm, I was pooped, and polish like that is always very thick and takes a tad longer to dry) as I was encasing it in gel and wanted to be completely sure it was dry! Next day, wiped surface with dehydrator, applied builder gel. Cured. Finish filed, then glossed and cured. Quote:
I'm hoping that the next set of frenchs will be even better. I posted some sculpted P&W french's that I knew were so-so, but were the most recent pics I had of those kind(I don't do them often, I avoid them as I HATE the look LOL). On Monday night or tuesday morning, I should have new pics to post INCL. barrel shots of a p&w french. I'm hoping that they'll show even more improvement. Thanks again!! ![]() |
