I personally would have extended the nail bed a little more for a better overall balance but I love the black glitter.....very sparkly! xxxxx

Your sidewalls are beautiful- nice and tapered! I agree with what was said, extending the nail bed slightly would have added nicely to the overall finished nail, which is possible, even if you tip them- you just have to pretailor the tip a bit before you apply it. If you applied black powder and not a tip, try applying it in a "V" shape to get the smile line more "smiley." I just learned to do it, and it blew my mind!!
The only other thing is that it seems that your apex MIGHT be a little flat, but without a side view it's just a guess from the highlight I see on the nail

Yes, they are black tips not sculpts........ I used a custom mixed glitter/clear l&p over the tip and then just clear for the rest.

These tips do have a really deep well and I thought if I tried to shorten the well, it would be really obvious if the smile wasn't perfect so decided to leave them for my nails.

Will definitely look at shortening them in the future though as I agree completely that they would look better with longer beds.

I haven't tried black for sculpting as everyone I have spoken to says how difficult it is ?! I will get some and try though as I really love this look and want to offer it to my clients, now I have heard your responses I think it will be very popular.

Not sure on the popits - I have yet to master the right amount of product, in a popit let alone creating a different coloured tip in one!

I got them from a local lady who came by a 'container load of nail stuff from somewhere' - suits me fine for basics that I can practice with! I have seen them online though at places like atyourfingetips etc. and the dreaded 'ebay'!

These are really nice, I'd be well pleased with them. I've got the black powder but not tried it yet but may be tempted after seeing these.

They are pretty!
I think they would look even better with deeper smile line, so if I were you, I would make the tips' smile line deeper using file before applying them to nails.
