Kupa vs Ram -
19-10-09, 10:35 PM
Hi I am considering a Kupa mani pro the basic one vrs the Ram primo or primosa. Does anyone have one and can you tell me what you like, don't like, and how long you've had it? I may someday have a lot of clients but for now I am just practicing and just do mine and one other person so it won't be used non stop. Thanks

i have a purple Kupa 3000 - and i love it! Yeah the Mani Pro is cheaper than the 3000 but the way i look at it, when youre buying something like a drill *which you'll be using on a daily basis* its best to make it an investment rather than a purchase. ive had mine now for a year and i havent had an issue yet *knock on wood!* but i know girls who used the mani pro's in school and they made it through their course then had to upgrade.
the Kupa 3000 has faster RMP's than the mani pro *im pretty sure..*, the hand piece is light and comfortable to use for 8, 9, 10 hours a day. its wonderful!! no complaints here! |

I have a Mani Pro and wished I had listened to others to not buy it. It doesn't have the speed, it vibrates and if you put any pressure on it, it slows down. I can't say anything about Ram, but I definitely think anything that has speed less than 30,000 rpm is just not effective enough for what we do. This is based on my experience and is JMO!!

KUPA is also the only company in the USA that manufacturers their own e-files, allegedly! We like KUPA - I just bought 4 KP3000 - has a wonderfully light and low vibration handpiece. These are on a special offer price offer with www.vickipeters.com - the KP3000 is being discontinued but KUPA will give usual warranty. It's a bargain just now. I might buy more ;-)

i'd go for Kupa if I had to choose as well. maybe just have another one just in case your baby needs some revision or something, as it can take a lot of time to get it back.
