I've purchased mine at eBay. You'll find it under the nail art section, $7-8 + shipping =)

I got some from my local supermarket in the kids craft section. About 15 small pots in lovely colours for £3/£4

a good quality acrylic paint is the best for nail art. the drying speed is so fast , it means theres no dalay between colours of top coat. choose a thin but heavily pigmented paint. i mostly use airbrush paint for my hand painted work , the texture is excellent to work with.

Agree with Susan - airbrush paint is best.

yes, theyre good quality arent they.

so often paints seem great when you see them in the bottle, but when you see them in fine strkes over a small area they just dont have dense enogh pigment to make an impact.

i'd suggest buying just one and testing the quality before buying a whole range of colours.

I've definately tried loads and loads. I can recommend the anitas, not too thick and gloopy, and the colours stay vibrant for weeks. hth x

learning new things here, I am a newbie to the nail industry and was looking at the nail art sets that have the pen nib, and also the striping brush, so am I right in saying that these paints are beter, and you would just buy a nail art brush set to use?? how would you use the paints? on a board of some kind, and how would you clean the brushes, is it accetone or nail polish remover? ruth x

personally using paints and a good brush is better than the 2 in one pens, i use a paint pallette for mixing and just clean brushes in water as the paints we do are water based.
