Try airbrushes.com, nailsplusbeauty, all things nails, hollywood nails (tho not the best quality) I pick them up as I go along. I steer away from the adhesive stencils.
As for paint on the hands practice practice practice - I always recommend a class so if you havent done one find out about one. |

I've purchased most of my stencils from eBay actually. Some are better quality than others. I do not recommend the wholesale ones where you get 30-60 stencils. My experience is that these are of lower quality. "Creative Commotion" has good stencils and ab paint + "Tattoo(s?) Max" has some good stencils (both @ eBay). Oh, and search YouTube for "TheAirMaster". He's got some nice ones. I believe he's here on Salon Geek too. Hth
