I just got and airbrush gun and i was wondering were a good place was to get some stencils where do all of you guys gets yours at?

Also can anyone tell me how they do there airbrushing i bought my gun and compressor of a nail tech that was older and had never used it but she had lost the instruction manuel and didnt have any stencils and i dont know how hard it is to keep the paint from getting all over the fingers how does that work?

When you start out you will probably get paint on the fingers, the more experienced you get this should lessen. Once the paint has dried on the nails your client can just wash her hands as normal and the residue on the skin will wash off. Hope this helps.

Try airbrushes.com, nailsplusbeauty, all things nails, hollywood nails (tho not the best quality) I pick them up as I go along. I steer away from the adhesive stencils.

As for paint on the hands practice practice practice - I always recommend a class so if you havent done one find out about one.

I've purchased most of my stencils from eBay actually. Some are better quality than others. I do not recommend the wholesale ones where you get 30-60 stencils. My experience is that these are of lower quality. "Creative Commotion" has good stencils and ab paint + "Tattoo(s?) Max" has some good stencils (both @ eBay). Oh, and search YouTube for "TheAirMaster". He's got some nice ones. I believe he's here on Salon Geek too. Hth
