I have yet to find a good nail art book. The vast majority are either photo's only and no tutorials (and most of these very dated), or the nail art is such a low standard that it beggars belief that someone would want to put their name on the cover.
I had high hopes for the book by Olga Bukina that was mentioned in NAILS or NAIL Pro some months ago - we had planned to buy this but were to busy to do this yet. I'm now pleased that I didn't having just read the reviews: The Russian and Ukrainian magazines are full of step by steps, but even if you read these languages often the designs are complex as each school that submits these tries to outdo the other. Apart from our magazine, you can look on manufacturers websites for video's and also look on YouTube - most of this is a low standard though. |
