Qualified in July and my basic routine is

File
Soak
Cuticle work
Buff
Oil
Massage (hand and arm)
Squeak
Polish

whats squeak we ve not covered this

Squeaking is removing oil/moisturiser from the nail with varnish remover so the polish goes on smoothly and stays in place.

With Jessica we do that with a nail brush & soapless cleanser & then wipe the nail so that it squeeks with a cloth, thereby eliminating the drying effect of varnish remover.

Manicure

Sanitize hands
Cuticle eliminator, while that works
File/shape nails with a glass file
Push cuticle back
Spritz hands with water
Wipe nails with towel, removing cuticle eliminator
Cut cuticle
Oil nails/ Buff
Massage
Wipe nails down with alcohol removing cream
Use OPI Chip Skip
base coat
2 Polish coats
Topcoat- Seche Vite~my fave!

cuticle remover and under free edge
cuticle knife
hoofer
massage
squeak
polish

Sanitise
remove polish
file
remove cuticle
exfoliate
remove exfoliator with hot towels
(I always exfoliate with every manicure it makes the hands lovely and soft)
buff
massage hand and arm
squeak nail plate
basecoat
2 coats of polish
topcoat

Sanitize
File
Cuticle remover
Soak
Clean and clip cuticles
Buff
Oil
Massage
Squeak
Polish
If they stick around untill they are completly dry Ill oil a wee bit again.
