What if somebodys thumb nail is bigger than the tip width?! - 03-11-09, 01:16 PM

hi i was just wondering what you do if somebody's thumb nail is wider than the biggest tip you have (No. 1)? would you do sculpting and if so how do you do this?

yes i would sculpt,look through the tutorials on here as it will probably be more helpful than me trying to explain it to you.
some companies sell tips in an xl size.x

Yes, I would sculpt it.

Book on to a class and learn how to do it. Sculpting is a technique that every nail technician MUST know how to do and to do well to be considered a well educated and skilled professional.

It is possible to view videos and I'm sure nailzoo has some good ones, but there is more to building a strong sculpted nail that would be taught (I hope) on a class. After all, nails have to last and not just look good and how you actually structure the sculpted nail is all important.

Definitely do a class.

I have found my students get in a mess with the form fitting at first and this is hard to explain in writing or even on video.Your tutor will show you lots of hints and tips for correct form fitting as well as using your products to sculpt.
