I'm confussed ?? - 07-11-09, 09:41 AM

Hay all,
just went onto gumtree to place an add and noticed another nail tech in the next town to me who is qualified in gel nails. she was advertising that if you have acrylic nails they can still be rebalanced with gel, is this right? i thought that were seprate and could not rebalance each other but if you were using a different l&p set you could rebalance with it ie if i had a client come to me with cnd and i use nsi i could rebalance with no probs.
sorry to go on but im now confussed !
Can anyone shed any light?? tia x

Gel and L&P are pretty much the same thing (acrylic) but they have different way's of curing, you can re-balance /fill with gel and or with different systems but you will need to advice the client that there may be some noticeable difference's like a slight color change from the white or pink ect ,and a possible service brake down from a high end product to a low end if you see what I mean .
