Everything you need to know about Shellac is right here on the site. Here - Defining the Shellac U V Colour Coat System Here - The Complete Shellac Colour Coat System Application Tutorial and Here - Shellac science is very cool-to understand it, is to know how to use it There is also the option to join the Shellac Lovers Group by clicking on groups above and seeing what all those who are using shellac have to say about it. There are many avenues here on Salon Geek for you to enhance and further your education. Oh, and by the way .. Shellac is not just a coloured gel. |

Take my advise and learn L&P first . after that gels are easy peasy!! lol
You can't give a main reason why they are different as for a start there are a myriad types of gels. soak off and buff off and flexible and rigid and thin coloured gels etc. all do different things. More people request L&P than gels for a few reasons ... one they are quicker to do ... two they are well known ... but really it is hard to generalize with these things. L&P still rules the market but you need to consider which is most popular in YOUR area and do that. There are also articles on here about the differences between gels and L&P. Have you had a look in the articles section?? I found this under general articles. Choosing the Correct Gel Go to forums .. then scroll down until you see articles and tutorials click on articles and then there are different categories ... there is mucho to learn there. |
