Shellac Lamp for Minx? - 25-03-11, 08:51 PM

Hi Ladies,
I just wondered if it was possible/okay to use the Shellac lamp for Minx or not?

errmm no, wouldnt really give of enought heat or direct heat, an infra red lamp is what you need for minx x

Minx works when u use heat (infra red) shellac lamp is uv light it doesn't produce the heat u need. They are completely different concepts. There are a few threads about alternative infra red lamps on here. I have the minx black one in my salon and a small one for mobile work and to do my own at home which works just as well. Hth x

I also have the black Minx lamp in my salon. I use a high powered hairdryer when doing it mobile. It works well.
