Lifting acrylic nails -
25-07-11, 06:14 PM
Hi guys, I'm new here. Im a trained beauty therapist, and am currently training in holistic massage therapy, indian head massage and acrylic nails.
I have done 3 friends extensions...followed all the steps...but their nails will begin lifting after 2-3 days max. How do I do extensions without them lifting after such a short amount of time? I haven't used a nail dehydrator...I just use extra strength nail primer. Im starting to think that maybe it's because I am doing the acrylic too thick around the perinycheum. (I know that spelt wrong! lol). Any suggestions would be very helpful.x |

Thankyou for your reply!
I have looked at the nail prep tutorial...and I have bought some scrubfresh! It would be lovely if this works, as I hate scouring into the nail bed. As a beauty therapist, Ive been trained to improve and maintain the condition of nails...and suddenly Im having to file it away!! lol. So this may help the lifting...and also not destroy my clients nails. Fantastic. I am also going to work on applying the acrylic properly, with a thin edge around the cuticle area. It might help. Thankyou again!x |
