A client of mine has had acrylic on her toes, unfortunately she stubbed one on a step not only taking the acrylic off but also ripping her toe nail half way down. Need advice on what is best to do- cut it back or leave the length?, apply an overlay of gel to protect and help strengthen the nail. It's a bit un-sightly and she doesn't want to leave it as it is.
Advice appreciated, thanks. |

If its still sore or if there is blood leave it till its a bit better. Tell her to pop a plaster on it till it heals.
If it is ok to touch id soak the acrylic off it, leaving the natural nail on if possible, and then start from scratch, and repair the crack! |
