Sad How long for your perfect smiles? - 09-02-12, 06:26 PM

Hi Geeks...

I am new at this...

I have trained with CND and Entity (Love them both)

I am completely beating myself up though... I refuse to even attempt to get clients yet, as I'm such a prefectionist i would hate to do someones nails that I wouldn't wear myself...

So im practising practising AND practising... BUT my smile lines are failing time after time?

So guys... can you restore a little faith and tell me how long it took you to get confident and how long for your smiles lines to look good?

Have you either got it or you haven't? OR is it a case of practising?

Thanks Geeks x

There's a brilliant video by fingernail fixer on YouTube, about smile lines. I have improved so much from watching that one video, and practising the steps she shows.

I'm on my phone and don't know how to post the link sorry. But search for it, because it really is worth it it's called 'l&p smile lines'

You'll get there with practice xxx

Practice makes perfect... Soon you'll be doing it with your eyes closed, I've been in the industry 12 yrs now and I remember feeling the same at first, one day it will just click :0) confidence is a big factor x

How about trying the reverse technique? By applying the pink first and making the smile line there and then butting the white up to that?
