I might well get shot down in flames for asking this but hey ho here goes...

I havent done Minx training (as yet) but do offer Minx as a service. I'm going through all my salon documents today to see that they still make sense and have come to realise that I dont have an aftercare advice sheet for Minx.

So, other than "dont peel them off" and "apply solar oil", am I missing any other important after care advice? (other than the obvious nail & skin care advice). Yes I know I need to do the Minx course and I do intend to in the near future but in the meantime any advice on aftercare for Minx would be appreciated

From whom do you buy your Minx? If you hold a mani pedi certificate, you do not HAVE to train with Minx ... You would certainly be better at doing the service if you did do the training ... stands to reason doesn't it? .... but that's your call.

If you you can supply me with your S2 customer number so that I can verify you as a Minx customer, then I can send you the official aftercare advice which is yes, allot more comprehensive than "DONT PEEL THEM OF AND USE SOLAR OIL"

You all should take Geeg up on her offer of an aftercare sheet , she kindly sent me one for Minx & Shellac and it has been incredibly helpful to me and my clients too x

Are they the same sheets that you get on the course? Geeg said she wrote the aftercare for the Minx training. I'm hopefully doing my Minx training in August, provided my EA feels I'm ready xx

Actually I'd love the Shellac after care advice too, although unlike Minx I'm not going to provide that service until I've done the training. I shall email you again Geeg for the Shellac after care sheet once I've done the training if you dont mind?

No one is twisting your arm, no. It's not mandatory. I have to say I think anyone who doesn't train is foolish because there are lots of tricks to learn but it's your business ... if you want to do a poor job on clients until you master Minx then that's your call ... not great for business though.

I worked in a salon who got
Minx in so she put one of our therapists through on the training and I went with her as her model so I went through it all aswell, the tutor that day even let me have a go on the girl I went with.
I asked if I needed to do the training even though I went with the girl from the salon and they said no but yet I don't get a certificate

If you want a certificate you will have to take the course in your own right. The trainer was very nice to let you attend and have a go, but if you want the Cert you will have to take the class. Meanwhile if you are buying Minx with your manicure certificate then that decision is up to you.
