If you apply shellac and finish it off completely you can then add the effects on top no problem.
I wouldn't add them before your shellac top coat though as they won't dry properly and will no doubt cause service breakdown. Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using SalonGeek |

If you use the search function you will see several threads about this subject. Yes you can use Any polish over shellac just make sure to use non acetone based remover when taking off the polish (unless the client wears the same color until their due for shellac, then no need to remove the color as the acetone works it's way through)
