I haven't used the Solar Butter but absolutely LOVE the Solar Manicure. It's a great exfoliant that leaves essential oils on your hands. You rub them in and they're SO soft!

They work really nicely together! Or you could substitute the Solar Butter with Solar Silk, also a beautiful combination for a two step manicure. HTH

The solar silk is good for clients with nut allergies as it doesn't have almod oil like the other solar products. (correct me if i'm wrong been a while since i looked!) I found the solar manicure really messy though.

Hi,

SolarSilk and SolarButter are both great products. The SolarButter is a thicker version of SolarSilk and is an "intesive cream".

SolarManicure is great and I love using it, however, I do agree that it is a bit messy with all the bits of sea salt that comes off.

BTW, SolarSilk DOES contain Sweet Almond Oil.

I use it all and adore it. I have a large glass bowl from ikea which I put on a towel on a small table next to client to hold there hands over & rinse off the solar manicure then my nail desk doesn't get messy and I just move it out of the way and carry on at my desk.

Hello,

Solar butter is really good, it's great for clients who have dry hands. It works a treat. I bought the mini solar butters and ended up retailing them all to my clients. Solar butter is very popular. I've never tried the Solar Silk though. Will get some at the show.

Love it love it love it

Solar manicure although messy if you keep a bowl alongside then pour warm water over clients hands is an excellent intensive exfoliater and with the oil deeply condiioning and it can be retailed as a one step manicure. The solar butter i use for clients with very dry hands and my feet lol. solarsilk is my favourite though beautiful for massage and doesnt leavea a greasy clump on the arms and hands.

I'm keeping my eyes open for a pretty jug (the pyrex one doesn't quite do it lol!!) or maybe one of those sets where you get a matching jug and bowl (people used to have them in their bedrooms) can't remember what they are called!

Bought this kit at Gmex last year. All lovely stuff. Tested out the solar butter on my client and she reacted to it. Her skin went really red and itchy. She never had a reaction to anything before so maybe do a test patch before you use it.
