nail biting

Hi, i used to bite my nails and started growing them for the nail courses i am doing. With everyone practising on my nails they have all broken back to a very short stage again.

I am very disappointed as i finally managed to overcome the problem but help! any ideas on products to use to encourge and keep them strong again.

Helloa dn welcoem to the site, use every day a good quality cuticle oil and make sure you use a nail strenghthenr to trya dn build them up a little.

it takes 6-9 months for a nil to grow from bottom to tip so although you may not see an instant improvement in tiem the new nail cells will be healthy and grow stronger and give you them nails you crave.

Sadly we all do thsi to our nails when we are startign out but then we learn to crucify the nail trainer .

Hiya, I been trying to stop biting my nails, I can stop for a while but find my nails are so weak they just split all the time and I'm back to stage one again and then back to biting!

I will have to get some solar oil, lots of people seem to recommend it!

I was so plaesed at myself for stopping but it breaks my heart when they split and it makes me pi***d off with the hard work i put in. Plus once they have grown and break i find they hurt.

Thanks for the tips. I do keep my nails manicured to promote some growth and try to keep them looking nice even though they look horrid!
