I'm assuming you are talking about the fiberglass system?

If so, I've used the white tip with the fiberglass over them and love it! The fiberglass is so sheer it's almost invisable. I think Backscratchers is one of the best, if not the best in fiberglass systems.

No I am not talking about the fiber glass system. It is like a L&P but you dip it.

i would imagine it to be REALLY TRICKY !!

They do 'guides' that you stick on the nail then - remembering the 'powder' will only stick to where you have placed the 'resin' you would place on the 'guide' then resin your 'smile' and dip in the white powder.....then you resin the area to do your pink and dip in the pink.

Like i say i bet its messy/fiddly.

I like backscratchers its quick and easy - fab for one offs.

Amb xx

I have used a dip system for 15yrs about....(can't remember when I started lol) Anyway...it's not backscratchers. But does use Resin & fine acrylic powder.

You can use french tips, and then dip.
OR
The hard way. Apply resin ONLY where you want the white to be, dip into white powder, then apply resin everywhere else and dip into clear.
It's tricky, and getting a clean line is near impossible. It's ok if you use a natural white? Then it looks very nice since a sharp line is not natural anyway, right?

And no, it's not like l&p because it uses resin and NOT monomer. The strength is also different as well. Also, the powder for dips is usually 'finer' because you are dipping.

Always be sure to use a loose brush to brush away excess after dipping, before you apply more resin or activator.

And fyi: you CAN build an apex with this system by 'layering' or 'sectioning' your application.
Let me know if you want to know how.

hths'

PS: you can also use any of the other coloured acrylic powders as well.
