It's becoming clearer.
You start off at college being given some ropey ole tips and taught how to put them on - but not enough time is given to explaining that actually this tip is good for this client because..., etc. Sure you get an explanation of different c curves and how to fit, but problem nails (which most of our clients have to be honest) are not covered. You could literally spend a week learning tips, blending tecniques and problem nails on their own!

Well you are right, but then one has to learn how to do nails well before tackling the problem ones!! You can't do nails that take skill and expertise before you have it!! Step by step is the sensible way and it Will all come together. Rome wasn't built in a day!!

ha ha - you're right! I'm a very impatient person though!
You do leave your course thinking YOU KNOW NAILS.... then you start doing them and you realise you KNOW very little at all.
