An American manicure is just the same as a french but the colours are more natural (not bright white). I would just use the table they have there, there might not be room for yours.
Don't let them rush you, take your time or else you will panic and you won't get those beautiful smile lines! Good luck. x |

Hi Sommer, when i do wedding parties i allways take my own table and lamp. They will make room for you, the last thing you need is to not be comfortable working on the wrong sized table with bad lighting. After 1 party i was packing away and spilled a tiny amount of scrubfresh over someones polished dining table and it cost me £120 to get it re-varnished..... take your own table!

Ask if they have a small table like a picnic one as I did a hen night 2 weeks ago and did 10 manicures, seven of which were French and they got the table from their caravan out for me to use, which I covered with towels and plastic backed nail towels.....but do take a lamp as the lighting I had there was crap and it was not easy to see what I was doing...I also handed out my price lists and have had a few new clients from it and not just for nails but waxing and tanning too.

Hi Sommer, just a word of advise,i would explain what an american manicure is to your client, just to check !
A little story for you lol.........my sis in law is a photographer and did a wedding last week ,the bride was heart broken she had booked for her wedding nails done and ended up with a manicure, not enhancements, with twenty mins to go she found someone else to come and do them for her. The moral of the story is to always make sure you know what your client wants as they may have very different idea's to you ... here endeth the fable lmao! Good luck chick ,let us know how it goes x x x |
