Are there any rules on enhancements and pregnant women?

I'd be interested to find out as I am pregnant and would like to have my nails done all loverly again by Louge...

I have no idea, I do know that Anne Vera did my nails all through my last pregnancy though so I hope it was ok. I did tell my doctors and they had no issues with it.

Pregancy is not a contra indication, there is no problem doing enhancements on a pregnant lady.

No problems with enhancements on preggie clients hoewever the strong odour of L&P may be offputting to the preggie mum to be as they are more sensitive to smells. Also be aware that post pregnancy when hormones are trying to sort themselves out and new mums are often run down, they may experience problems with their enhancements such as lifting.

Oh im glad to hear that as i am just starting out mobile and am now 5 weeks pregnant - my other half has been asking me if i think its safe to carry on whilst pregnant and ive kinda been avoiding the conversations as i dont want to stop!!! Do you think continued exposure could be a problem? Also, as alot of my clients are friends i was planning to take my baby with me to some after they are born - do you think it could be harmful for tiny lungs??

Nail products are perfectly safe to use while you are pregnant and on ladies who are pregnant.

Mae sure you follow all manufacturer's instructions regarding correct ventilation etc as always.

I'm so relieved to hear that - done feel guilty for doing my favourite thing now!
