why is it important that contra-indications are fully explained to the client???
if your client is showing a contra-indication then it's only right that the reasons for not performing the treatment are fully explained otherwise they'll not totally understand your reasons for declining them. why is it important that phycisian approval is given if a contra-indication is identified? to cover yourself... if you perform a treatment on a client who should have had medical approval and it goes wrong then you are liable, you'll probably find that your insurance would be void too, double check that with your insurance company to make sure. hth's x p.s. welcome to the site, there's a wealth of knowledge available here for you |
