L&P Marbling - 30-09-06, 09:26 PM

I have done a search on this but can only find the water marbling. I have been told you can do marbling but using L&P coloured powders, so you get a very interesting effect.

Does anyone know how to do this? I think you have to dip your brush into one powder, then another colour, but was worried about mixing the colours in the large pots etc. Has anyone done this or tried it?

I would think you add one small bead in one colour quickly followed by another bead of a different colour and then blend them together like you do when doing a polish marbell.
Look forward to the results

Here are my 1st attempts at L&P marbling.

So what do you guys think? It's quite hard to blend without just mixing a new colour, so a slight of hand is needed.

Yes, i used the double dip method, so you pick up one bead, then another straight away, then apply themt o the tip, but you have to be careful when you move the product so it still has the marble effect.

Using white is a good colour to contrast with, plus i would pick up the lighter colour fist, then the darker one, or the dark one just covers up the lighter one.

Go on geeks, have a go, its real fun.

they are brill. I wanna have a go too. THe water marbelling is quite messy and you use so much polish.

By the way, I may be thick.. but whats the 'double dip' method??
