Although I have one, I haven't been using it of late because of the height of my table, and then the added height of the one I have... it puts a kink in my shoulder.
Been meaning to ask my hubby to set it up 'in' my table. Haven't quite figured out how yet. Working on it. Can't wait though.... sooooooooooo tired of the dust in my house and up my nose Yes, wear a mask good poll btw |

Up until now I havnt used one, but have had no end of trouble with the dust because im so sensitive, and I worry about breathing it in all day! When my new salon is up & running im having a desk with an extraction unit built in and vented outside.

I voted 'no, they're too expensive' but that isn't strictly true! I'm mobile and as yet haven't seen anything that really fits the bill for me..... so it's not solely a cost issue.
Tbh, as a mobile I work smart at each location I'm at and then have a break in between clients with fresh air each time. So although I'm exposed to dust when I work I'm not exposed to it for every minute of my working day, if you see what I mean. Hth's |

I have a built in dust extractor on my desk which I nowadays always put on when doing a rebalance.
I also have a portable dust and vapour extractor that I bought when I was going to go mobile in the beginning but that just sits there gathering dust! |

I've voted no, but it's not 'cause they're too expensive it's just that my hubby hasn't fitted me one in yet as planned and since I'm not doing that many nails yet e.g. not working all day long I'm not too worried at the moment but if things pick up then I'll definately be on at him to get it done.

I had an extraction ventilation sytem built into my home salon which really made a big difference. I am lucky as hubby is a carpenter and new how to9 go about getting an effective system. Unfortunately, we have recently converted my home salon back to a bedroom as we will be relocating soon (hopefully!) x

I have had a desk with extraction for years, but recently got rid of it for all sorts or reasons. Boy do I miss it ... so right now I sport one of your fave things ... a dust mask!!!! Better than nothing, but i hate it!
