Of course I am answering this without having ready everyone's response . Your question however has answered itself... An oil softens, a remover removes! Cuticle Remover actually 'pulps' up non-living tissue on the nail plate so that it can be removed leaving a perfect foundation for an enhancement to be applied!

Oils soften but do not remove so as normal, you will need to prescribe the correct treatment for each and every client that sits infront of you - make sure you fill in the client card too so you remember! HTH's

Cuticle Remover is professional strength product that speeds up removal of cuticle, to be used only in the salon, but it must be removed from the nail plate and surrounding area(if there). Cuticle Eraser is the retail version for clients to use at home to help prevent cuticle buildup and to condition and prevent hangnails. Eraser doesn't have to be removed, just massaged in. HTH

You have to do it fresh everyday. I just do a tiny little bit of citrus soak into a small (maybe 100ml) squeezy bottle. Then I wipe it with that & a wipe to remove cuticle remover.

Dont think the cuticle oil will do enough of an immediate job if you are putting enhancements on!

Hi Theresa, so with the cuticle remover how once I've put a bit on each cuticle can I start straightaway with my cuticle knife or should I give it a few mins?

You shouldn't be using cuticle oil if you're prepping for enhancements, the product will have a hard time bonding with the nailplate and lifting will more than likely occur within the first few hours after application.

I prefer to leave it for a minute (or thereabouts) to give it time to start working on the nail, then use your cuticle tools to remove the non-living tissue buildup (cuticle).
