[quote=ValencianNails;524583]You shouldn't be using cuticle oil if you're prepping for enhancements, the product will have a hard time bonding with the nailplate and lifting will more than likely occur within the first few hours after application.
You can. You can even carry out a solar manicure with oils and apply a set of enhancements if your client needed it. You can apply solar oil then dehydrate nail plate as usual and continue with enhancements. I do do this on clients that need it and I don't get lifing at all. I cannot say it works with all oils or all systems either, but I do definately know (and been told by creative educator) that this is fine to do with Creative systems. Oh and I use remover and get the client to wash their hands to remove it... gets the hands free of dust too ready for the enhancements or paint. hth |

Could someone tell me why the citrusoak and water solution needs to be made fresh everyday as oposed to making a batch in a spray bottle and using till it is finished. I dont work in a salon so making it up and then throwing it out is a real waste for me. Could it be kept in the fridge?

i apply cuticle remover first , then go on to trimming and filing the free edge when i'm doing a new set. by the time that is completed, the remover has worked and removing the residue with a tool can then begin. |
