what tutorials would you like added to the site ? -
23-02-07, 10:51 AM
I was just thinking then , how I can add to the site , I'm going to try another tutorial , but it got me thinking
what tutorials do we actually want on the site , as there are lots of people on the forums at lots of stages ,from planning courses through to the great grand masters , we could come up with all sorts of new ones , so tell us , what would you like to see ? and those who are able to do tutorials ..please add one xxx or if you are unable to do a tutorial as such , maybe you could take pictures of stages you do wether it be manicure ,pedicure or enhancements , with an explanation of each stage , this will be useful for others if you are a highly experienced tech , or if you are having any problems ,and not sure why , maybe doing this can help other techs pick up on what you can do differently . nobody will say "ooh you are doing that wrong" it will only be done in a helpful manner most of us are probably visual learners, I know I am , and if I see it , I pick it up much quicker . |

I would like to see an in depth tutorial on polymerisation of L&P, and molecular structure of the product.
Also (even though I'm not a UV gel user) I would like to see a tutorial on the facts about using UV lamps with different gels. (If that makes sense!) Yep I guess I'm going back to the science thing again. But that's one of the things that interest me. |

I'd like to see form fitting
I refuse to sculpt as the slightest seepage sends me into a right strop Lots of people have showed me how to fit a form, and yes I can get it on but I never get a perfect fit. And if I do get it fitted well, I must press too hard as invariably it drops when I apply the product and I still get seepage. I love sculpting, find it faster and more satisfying, but refuse to do it until I get it perfectly right |

ooh id like to see polymeristaion too im sick to death of frikkin air bubbles
i have read and practiced all the advice that has been given me on here , but im still getting them ive burped my brush to death , ive picked up beads in a million different ways ..ive counted , ive done going going gone ..ive placed it differently ive waited different amounts of time after placing before patting , ive patted ,pressed and blobbed ..and still looks like an attack of the areo bar ive just been doing my version of a rebalance (hoping to pick up some tips when i post ) and the bubbles are a pain in the bum , i took pics so you can see what i mean ... im loving this , i cant wait to see peoples replies ...its our site , lots of us are bored lately ..so lets make it what we want it .. only we can do it ooh just to add ..Geeg's rebalance tutorial is brilliant , it was that that taught me how to do them ..we never even covered it in college , But it would be nice to see close up step by step piccies too ..we love our step by step pics lol .. the more the better , we all find that where one person says something ,it doesnt click , then another can say it ,or show it differently and hey presto , its clicked xx |

I personally am a huge fan of art tutorials (big surprise there, aye?
But I'd also like to see a tut for uv gel application that shows the AMOUNT of gel on the brush, when it's applied. To compare to my own application. I still feel like I'm filing too much off

Like Trinity, I'd also like form fitting with possibly some pics of how to pre-tailor the forms.
Also a P&W Gel rebalance using the sculpting gel as I usually use the POW and just cant get used to the scupting gel. |
