Got my first booking for a little princess party, have an assortment of polishes, glitter, gems and rhinstones can anyone think what else I could get for them ????

there was a thread about this the other week hun, but cant find it, we suggested none nail things too, like hair bobbles, clips, scrunchies etc

depending on age maybe lip gloss etc

i have asked my daughter and she says glitter hairspray, from claires accessories im told. and glitter gel for the face. xx

Hope this does'nt sound scroogie but at £5 per head was just gonna stick to the nails ! maybe I should up the cost slightly and offer more such as a wee bit make up and hair things??

wee file, any polish they choose then any gems/glitter/or rhinestones they want

This is quite a fiddly job! Maybe stick with a few bits in their bags for now, some replacement rhinestones, stickers etc, you'll be suprised at how quick they come off on the littler ones (or maybe not).

My daughter is 9 and she loves getting paw prints done! Perpare yourself, at that age they think you are Picasso and can do anything on their tiny nails lol

I have done a few of these parties and i used to do the nail gems but i have stopped doing the gems now because within 10 mins or so they come back to you saying so many have come off then you have to do it all again, children will not sit for as long as adults so there nails dont get chance to dry before they have ruined them, i now just polish and apply nail stickers, i also take a hairdryer and use it on the cold setting to help there nails dry a bit quicker hth

right so what you are all sayin is they are going to be a nightmare???? pml! Met the little girls gran today who had a set of enhancements done, and I think she will be able to keep them in line

No, only joking. When I did the christmas fayre at my daughters school they sat sooo still I couldn't believe it.

Louise is right though about the gems and polish smudges, I did get quite a bit of that!!

I did a nail party for seven 10 year olds.
Did a file, polish (choice of about 6 colours but they nearly all chose hot pink!) gem on thumb or pinkie only and swoops from a white nail art pen on each nail. It was quick and easy cos used Seche Vite top coat and dried really quickly.

Whatever you choose to do, have fun!

No they wont be a nightmare, they are usually very good while having there nails done but then they go off to play and that's when they tend to lose the gems, and they all seem to copy whatever the first child has had done

Reading through this, i think i will give this a shot, test it out my friends two daughters and their pals.

Can anyone give me links to good suppliers for the likes of the Gems, stickers, and nail art pens?
