Advice on removal of cuticle remover please - 13-02-08, 03:54 PM

Hi there

I have bought a spray bottle to rinse away any cuticle remover residue on the nail prior to applying acrylic. Problem is I can not get hold of any citrus soak to add to the water.

Does anyone know if water alone can be used or does a form of detergent need to be present to neutralise the cuticle remover.

If this is the case do you know of an alternative to citrus soak?

Thanks in advance,

Sharon

Thanks Angie

I was thinking of something I could add to the water in case a sink was not nearby in order to save some time. I know it wouldn't take that long to get them to use the bathroom but I do like to work quickly.

Thanks

I would guess any kind of liquid soap...just a squirt mixed with the water....that should remove the cuticle remover, then just scrubfresh after.

if you don't have citrus soak is there any reason why you can't use no-acetone remover?

Plain ole water is fine hun, thats all I use, spray with water then I use a small face cloth to completely wipe it all off then S/F at the end, all is fine and dandy, you dont need citrus soak at all... Water is what de-activates the Sodium Hydroxide.

In ref to the query above re non-acetone remover... not wise to put one chemical over another hun, water is all u honestly need.
