no shine -

Hi I am a new nail tech just out of my course and i am having a little problem with getting a nice shine on my nails what am i doing wrong?I did all my prep work put efixit on then my bonder build up my nail cured it all for 2 mins then i did all my shaping and filing then when i put the top gloss on and cure in lamp for 2 mins after i wipe the nail clean there is a little shine but its not vibrant.I dont know what i am doing wrong I use the Akzentz line. your advice would be greatly appreciated,,,Rose

Hiya ... this is what i do
Prep affixit bonder gel cure builder gel cure POW cure clear over zone 2 and 1 cure wipe and buff to shape clean and remove dust topgloss (not too thin...but not to thick so it runs) cure wipe. I would try doing your gloss layer a little thicker....see if that helps.

yep, the top layer has to be applied at the right thickness and cured for the right time
kinda like this ........  this is quite amazing music too

hi ty you for the advice i will try that i have a set to do this after noon i will see how it turns out,I thought it would be the lamp but its only a new one.

Under curing can mean it isn't as shiny, or that the layer isn't thick enough.
Haven't used akzents gels, so hopefully someone else will help better.
