vapours - 02-05-08, 08:13 AM

hello could someone maybe shed some light on my ? i am using odourless acrilic and was wondering how long do the vapours last after usage. i am training at the moment and i am working in the kitchen.how safe is it? i am looking to do a gel course soon would i get the same problems. because when you read up about coshh it saying about good extraction which is hard when you are working from home. how much is to much exposure??????? how many sets. i wont to work in a safe enviroment. as well as be able to cook and clean and let my children play without wondering if the vapours are still in the air.
please help

There are vapours with all nail systems, including low odour and gel systems.

You should exchange the air in the room from time to time.

As for safety??
Working normally, you could not possibly make the amount of vapour in the air that would be considered higher than the safe level. You would have to spill a huge amount to go over the safety limit. So stop worrying about that.

Work clean, dispose of rubbish safely, store correctly and keep everything out of the reach of any children.

Good extraction ventilation is recommended more for dust than vapours.
