Rolleyes Star Nails Gel Help! - 11-05-08, 01:23 AM

Hi Everyone
Can you tell me anything about Star Nails? I learned them in class and I am doing them at my spa now. I am not sure how to take them off, it says buff off? How long does that take and can I use a drill? In school we didnt learn that of course. I called the distributor and they sent me some directions on their other stuff like acrygel (gel and acrylic)should I just use those directions(they use soak off directions)? Please message me with help. Thanks

Years ago when I used Star Nails you couldn't soak them off. But in my experience with gels I would rather file off. Soaking takes a while. But gel usually files down pretty easily. hth

Thanks for the help. I figured I would have to buff them off. Also, its seems to pool around the cuticles. Am I using to much? Thank god I used my sister in law as a practice. She said it burned like hell! I got most of it off before it got in the uv light. I think I used way to much gel. LIve and Learn.
