Question Shimmer powder? - 30-05-08, 10:25 AM

Hi, I'm trying to find a shimmer additive for my pink powder. I've seen someone with a shimmery acrylic & french tip and it was a lovely effect. I'd like that effect, without polish, for p & w or with french tips.

I've got boogie nights clear glitters. I'm after a pearly, shimmery effect, not glittery. Something to add to normal pink powder. I use EzFlow.
Many thanks )

I have gotten a few from a lot of brands... but the best thing I found was mixing eye shadow to my powder (not to the liquid please)... and the best eye shadow I could find was from Black Up.

eye shadow Black Up, you buy them they're powder, really... hum... powder lol. I think Sephora has some too. you mix them but you have to see (check) your ratio... but always keep max 60%acryl, 40%max pigment/make up. it can be less pigment. I will check Bodyography very soon, they have great colors.

then you'll see by yourself, that it may not dry if you put too much, etc.

always ALWAYS ALWAYS choose facial make up as the agrement are higher than anything.

pigments that you buy in art shops are fine but use very very very few, and they usually don't mix very well, at least not as good as loose powder.

avoid foundation powder...

and make your oen experimentations!!

Nailite has awesome shimmers.
They are so fine, they are like dust. Beautiful. I love using them. They can be added to L&P or UV Gel.
