I wish you every success in your new venture I am sure you will be just perfect. It is a very stressful time choosing which company etc to do your training with etc. I suggest you call a few companys and as them to send out the training information and read through them. I usually advise my girls to the write down any question then call the company back to have these answered. I always find this works but you will find your on groove and what is right for you Good luck dariling

How exciting - its a fab industry (and can absolutely be profitable!!)
Somthing else you might want to think about is seeing if you can get some 'work experience' somewhere just to see what its like. Obviously not doing treatments until you are qualified but maybe helping out with cleaning or admin stuff just so you can get that insiders glimpse - it might help just making your mind up that last little bit Best of luck! |

Hi,
Im in a pretty similiar situation myself except I left my job not uni. I start my 1st beauty course tomorrow but start my creative nail training in august and cannot wait. Like you I pondered for a while, but having quit I know it was best thing I ever did. Even if it does not work, least I can say I tried. And im sure it will be same for you. Even if the nails dont work out it doesnt sound like you are enoying your course anyway. Give it go and best of luck!! xx |

Thank you for your response! I definitely think this is going to be the right decision for me, my partner will support me with whatever decision i make which is always what you want to hear! I've looked at the courses that united beauty have to offer and the Nail and Beauty School (NABS) i'm just trying to work out the best things for me. These have both been recommended to me which i'm grateful for as i've been looking at so many different things lately! thanks again x |

maybe a geek here took one near you, you never know!!
I had mine, it was a 2 day course, had my second day yesterday, the purpose of it was to help you doing your business plan, and then have an excercice for 3 monthes where you had to look at the bills and record them, and then compare your business plan to what really happened AND (that was really interesting ,the rest was like accounting only) finding out why you didn't sell as much bikes as you intended to... (the situation was about selling bikes, I don't plan on changing my career lol) I will have more classes like that, self employee or management, etc. I like these lol. |
