Hello there, My name is Cinthia am new here ... am so happy with this site ive been reading and have found a lot of the threads really interesting !

I have studied beauty in Peru where i come from and will be starting soon at the london college of beauty of therapy it will be for 2 days a week and ive been looking for other colleges as i am interested in becoming a nail technician, ive been looking online but most of the courses are so expensive soo am asking for your help if anyone knows of any colleges i am a single mum so am hoping to find an affordable one.

Dont know if it helps but there is a govenment funded programme which funds some NVQ leval 2/3 qualifications through colleges. I believe this is dependeant on it being your first NVQ Leval 2 or equivilant.
Would be best to contact local colleges and see what course they have, when they start and enquire about funding.

Im currently doing a NVQ2 Nails Services course in the evening which i love.

Where in London are you?? I'd like to mention too that the government dropped funding for alot of adult classes in the beauty subjects so you are probably looking at around £500 for a college course - maybe more! hth's

Price includes your professional kit and is not vastly different to a college course price and is BETTER. Bad training is worse than no training ... get it Right from the Start.

and if you are a single parent on benefits this is a course that can be funded, ask your advisor in the job centre,
