After reading this thread, Foils

I decided to do a wee experiment, I am loving minx and find that they definitely last longer on natural nails, after applying minx to my enhancements and loving them, I was finding after a few days they started to curl a bit at the free edge so, after reading the above thread I thought I'd have a play and see how it goes.

I tipped my nail with a clear tip, and then applied the minx after pre-cutting in my smile line on the minx. Then I applied zones 2 and 3, I always have to extend my nail bed as I have crappola nails , then capped in clear.

Here is the result, and I will let you know how it lasts

they are nice fi, looks really effective on the tip!!!!
i have done a bit of an experiment with them myself on someone, as wanted to see how they held up encased in acrylic, it was a NNO so cant wait to see the result.

Oh yes that will be very interesting to see Sian, I think it could work for sure. I have done this one on my wrong hand and hope that it goes fine, at first when I placed my bead of l&p on the minx I wasn't sure if it would work, the other thing I had to be careful with was the refining, I didn't want to file the ears or any off by accident.

Believe it or not my hubby had a great idea tonight, he said what about doing the minx as normal on the nail plate and the once it's done place a form and do whatever you feel like! If anyone feels the inclination it would be great to see, I might give it a go myself tomorrow.

I think you are all going to have lots of fun learning to do things with Minx. You will write the text book as you experiment and share ideas. The people who produce Minx have not tried any of these ideas ... YOU will be the path finders.
